The horses of the farm are:

Morning Glory's Waterfall : Blue Preffered American Warmblood Association

Waterfall was a surprise. She was born almost 3 weeks early. The night before she was born, a very heavy thunderstorm came through. Out of a terrible rain storm came this perfect foal. It was ironic that the only filly name I had picked out was Waterfall. She looks just like her Grand Sire, Fiddler's Glory Boy (Shadow). She is a dream come true for me and I am so grateful to Morning Glory Farm for her. Waterfall is a 3 year old Hanoverian/Anglo-Arab/Connemara cross. Her sire is Morning Glory's Ilyushin and her dam is Whrapsody.
These two pictures show her at a Yearling and as a Two-Year old. As a yearling she got 4th place in the halfbreed class. Last year she got 5th at the American Connemara Pony Society Show.

I have exciting news!!!  On 21 April 07, Waterfall and I competed in our first Dressage show.  We performed two tests called Intro Test A and B.  This is the very first level for Dressage competitions.  We won SECOND place on Test A and THRID place on Test B!!!!!  Her first time out and we got Second place!!!  She was great the whole day. Brad went with us and took pictures and video.  He also kept me calm!   If you want to see the videos of the tests go to this link:

Our next competition is 6 May.  After a year, we are well on our way.  We are becoming a great team and we will move up this summer in the classes.  Thanks to Jilba Dressage and Capriole Farms for the lessons and resources to help me get to this point.

Waterfall and I are walking, trotting, and cantering now.  Each week we are growing together.  Below is a picture of us at the trot in my lesson for Oct 14, 2006.

Here is a picture of Waterfall and I on Aug 27th after our lesson.  We have been taking lessons for a little over 2 months.  We have been riding solo for 4 weeks.  She is doing really well and I am having a great time riding my own horse.  What a thrill it is to ride her after waiting these 4 years for her to grow up.

On 29 Jan 06, Brad and I had the hitch installed on the truck so I can hook up my new horse trailer!  I am now mobile!  Waterfall and Willow start training this year, early.  It feels wonderful to have my own rig.  It is a dream come true.

June 2006 - Our first trot in the round pen.

May 2005 - Waterfall is in training.  I have been on her back several times, and did not come off.  She is learning how to lounge, and learning stop and forward with me on her back.  She is doing well.
About 6 weeks ago, in October, I was sitting on Waterfall, and she bucked me off. I ended up breaking my arm at the wrist. The cast comes off Dec 10, 2004. This has not deterred me in the least. So on we go with training in the Spring. She is doing well with a bridle and bit, and doesn't mind the saddle at all. One day, she will be a great riding horse!

On September 19, 2004, I sat on Waterfall's back for the first time! I have a video and will get pictures up soon! What a day! And she was great about it all.

El Jihreah's Panacea (Panne):

Panne        panne

Panne is a 30 year old Arabian. He spent part of his life as an endurance horse, but now is happily enjoying retirement. Panne died on April 4th.  Somehow he broke is left hind leg.  There was no choice to be made.  My heart was broken.  Panne and I had a connection that all horse people want with their horses.  We understood each other.  My whole world changed when he died, and that took alot to get used to.  We still miss him.  Maybe one day I will have another Arabian who I can connect with.  Panne was my partner, friend, companion, and part of my soul.

WILLOW

Willow is a grey 7 year old who is in training.

There are more pictures of the horses in the Gallery.
